IMMUNE

Safety Freedom Clarity Insusceptibility Unconstrained Protected

Life has become distorted. The structures of society seem to be on the verge of crumbling, and we have found ourselves in a new state of flux, surrounded by phobia.
We live in the age of information, internet, and telecommunications, where the line between what is real and what is not has become even more blurred than ever before.

Resistance - Unaffected - Relieved - Vulnerability - Exempted

IMMUNE is a cross-over performance: a journey from classical to contemporary music, woven together by electronic sound, visuals and drama.
The audience will experience a unique performance with music, visual projections and a social critic as a theme.
Audiences are invited to rethink the way we relate to each other in modern life. The performance also seeks to establish a conversation with the audience - and perhaps generate a sense of conflict.
IMMUNE tells about the interaction between two beings no. 9 (clarinetist), no. 10 (pianist) and its conscience (sound / visual controller). The characters embark on a journey of emotion, and experience a loss of the void that gradually changes as the inner development of the main characters.
The pros and cons of being immune in today's society are discussed, along with the importance of technologies and the value of the little things; the importance of both sides and how we balance it all throughout the journey of life.

Kvindelig Inspiration, Fátima Trives-Escolano's Debut Concert, a performance completed in June 2019 that highlighted the modern female figure, and its role in the classical music world, through music written or inspired by women.
KVINDELIG INSPIRATION DEBUTKONCERT

Apart from the exceptional nature of each selected piece, they all have a common denominator: that they were written or inspired by female. It has been apparent throughout history, that the greatest composers have been inspired, supported and surrounded by the female presence. On another level, this performance aspires to highlight the modern female figure and role in the world of Classical Music.
